One-on-one consultations and personalized financial plans are two services offered by CFP® professionals. Here are the key features of each.
- A consultation consists of a 30-minute meeting with a CFP® professional.
- Each session focuses on a participant’s questions and concerns, such as retirement planning, college planning, estate planning, and more.
- One session typically focuses on one question or concern.
- This service offers participants a holistic view of their finances.
- The plan focuses on each area of a participant’s finances, including how changes in one area could affect others.
- The CFP® professional helps align a participant’s core values and goals with behaviors to help achieve them, using the financial plan as a foundation for future discussions.
